LongIslandle
In early 2022, during the Wordle craze, Discover Long Island’s CEO wanted to jump on the trend and create a Long Island version. I came up with the name “LongIslandle,” purchased the domain LongIslandle.com, used the open source code to duplicate a simple version of Wordle, and edited the word list to include 5-letter words associated with Long Island. I put it up on the website, redirecting from LongIslandle.com.

Discover Long Island’s Public Relations team put out a press release, and the page quickly become the number one visited page on DiscoverLongIsland.com with the most engagement. After launch, engagement grew 66% on the website, and is still the 6th most popular page.
